UAE stock markets close Wednesday with mixed note

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 9.03 points (0.22%) and ended Wednesday’s trading session at 3,999.58 points.

The turnover reached AED 381.88 million through the exchange of 109.85 million shares.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 93.93 million, while Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) was the most active stock with 15.52 million shares.

National International Holding led the risers with 9.30%, whereas Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance headed the fallers with 5%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 0.129% to 9,553.45 points.

A total of 168.45 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.01 billion, whereas the market cap value hit AED 2.87 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) registered the highest turnover of AED 218.52 million, while Multiply Group dominated trading volume with 20.62 million shares.

Ghitha Holding topped the gainers with 5.22%, while Sharjah Insurance Company led the decliners with 9.40%.
