EGX’s indices plunge on Thursday

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined collectively on Thursday, with the EGX30 main index falling by 0.07% to 24,686.16 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI also went down by 1.18% to 5,286.49 points.

Similarly, the EGX100 EWI decreased by 0.93% to 7,681.96 points.

The turnover totalled EGP 3.82 billion after 1.21 million shares were traded, while the market cap value reached EGP 1.66 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 374.61 million. Meanwhile, both the foreign and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 329.78 million and EGP 44.83 million, respectively.
