Mubasher: Digital commerce enabler Network International has appointed Jamal Al Nassai as the Group Managing Director for Merchant Services in the MENA region.

Al Nassai will be responsible for strategic planning and execution, business development, and value propositions for both merchant and government partners across Network International’s MENA markets, according to a press release.

The newly appointed official has 18 years of service at Network International in various leadership roles, besides his diverse expertise in the fields of business, technology, governance, regulatory compliance, and operations.

Group CEO of Network International, Nandan Mer, said: “In this new role, Jamal will further underscore our commitment to enhancing Network’s presence and achieving further milestones as we accelerate product innovation and time-to-market for our customers, enabling them to achieve their goals.”

Network International offers end-to-end payment solutions to a growing customer base in over 50 countries.

From his side, Al Nassai noted: “I have had a long association with Network International and am delighted to further enhance Network’s position as it embarks on the next phase of growth in digital payments.”

In 2023, the group enhanced its digital services in Egypt through an EGP 1 billion investment, in addition to revealing plans to reach 13 clients in the financial sector and obtain a licence from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
