Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 2.25 billion on Monday, 26 February 2024, through two issues.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 2 billion and will mature in three years on 27 February 2027, according to official data.
Holding a tenor of five years until 7 May 2029, the second offering stood at EGP 250 million.
Last week, the CBE issued a debt instrument at an aggregated value of EGP 4 billion over three auctions.
