UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 80.82 points (1.86%) and closed Tuesday’s trading session at 4,245.80 points.

The turnover reached AED 295.87 million through the exchange of 179.19 million shares.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) posted the highest trading value of AED 62.70 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 67.80 million shares.

Al Salam Bank – Sudan headed the fallers with 8.63%, whereas Orascom Construction led the risers with 9.94%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went down by 0.531% to 9,236.30 points.

A total of 234.61 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 980.23 million, while the market cap value reached AED 2.84 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 201.16 million, while Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 23.68 million shares.

Fujairah Cement Industries Company led the gainers with 15%, whereas Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company headed the losers with 7.34%.
