Riyadh – Mubasher: The US connectivity cloud company Cloudflare has made its first direct participation as well as the second consecutive year of participation at LEAP conference, which is being held until 7 March 2024 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, according to a press release.

Cloudflare will be focusing at LEAP 2024 on its connectivity cloud, an integrated platform for regaining control of security and IT resources across the entire ecosystem, namely on-prem, public cloud, SaaS, and the Internet.

Head of Middle East Sales at Cloudflare Bashar Bashaireh, said: “Saudi Arabia is undergoing massive economic improvements and changes towards a diverse high-technology powerhouse economy that is less dependent on oil.”

Bashaireh elaborated: “This transformation is driven by HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's Saudi Vision 2030 that seeks to improve performance across all sectors, heavily leveraging technological advancement and initiatives such as artificial intelligence and cloud adoption. All these initiatives demand a more reliable, resilient and efficient Internet connectivity coupled with robust cybersecurity to guarantee integrity and safety of organisations’ digital assets.”

Used as a reverse proxy by roughly 20% of all websites, Cloudflare helps connect and protect enterprises through its platform while enabling them to succeed in the hyper-connected, everywhere world.

In the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023 alone, the US company blocked approximately 182 billion cyber threats on a daily basis.

Besides its connectivity cloud services, Cloudflare will be demonstrating initiatives and innovations at LEAP 2024 such as Cloudflare One Data Protection Suite, Magic WAN Connector, and Workers AI.

It is worth noting that aramcoMETABRAIN, a language AI model, has been revealed at the four-day event.
