Cairo – Mubasher: The net international reserves of Egypt amounted to $35.31 billion as of 29 February 2024, up by nearly $60 million from $35.24 billion last January.

The recently registered amount was higher year-on-year (YoY) than $34.35 billion, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) data.

Earlier in the 6 March meeting, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of CBE raised the interest rates by 6%.

The Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) of Egypt marked its lowest in 11 months during February 2024 due to lower sales and foreign exchange shortage.
