Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) showed a mixed performance on Sunday, 14 April 2024, the first session after a long weekend on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr Holdiay.

The main market’s All Share Index (TASI) decreased by 38.52 points (0.30 %) to 12,666.90 points.

The turnover stood at SAR 6.28 billion through the exchange of 243.17 million shares.

The utility segment led the gainers with 5.13%, while the banking sector was the top decliner with 1.99%.

Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Company (GO) advanced the risers with 9.98%, whereas Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) led the fallers with 4.72%.

Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) posted the highest turnover of SAR 553.37 million. 

With 24.78 million shares, Al Baha Investment and Development Company was the most active stock in terms of the number of traded shares.

On the other hand, the Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) soared by 137.34 points (0.52%) to 26,390.11 points.

Raoom Trading Company topped the risers with 19.88%, while Abdulaziz and Mansour Ibrahim Albabtin Company (Al Babtain Food) led the fallers with 8.57%.

During the month of Ramadan, the Arab markets showed a volatile performance under which Tadawul was among five rising stock markets.
