Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) experienced significant gains on Thursday, with the EGX30 main index jumping by 3.27% to 26,142.84 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI soared by 3.46% to close at 5,665.24 points.

Similarly, the EGX100 EWI leapt by 3.66% to 8,160.90 points.

The turnover amounted to EGP 3.35 billion through the exchange of 846.51 million shares, while the market cap reached EGP 1.75 trillion at the end of the session.

As for trading on securities, Egyptian investors were the net buyers with EGP 378.80 million.

On the other hand, the foreigners and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 363.78 million and EGP 15.01 million, respectively.
