Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) achieved outstanding performance on Sunday, with the EGX30 main index surging by 4.49% to 27,315.83 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI jumped by 3.91% to close at 5,886.88 points.

The EGX100 EWI leapt by 4.59% to 8,535.19 points.

The turnover totalled EGP 6.04 billion through the exchange of more than 1.02 billion shares, while the market cap hit EGP 1.83 trillion at the end of the session.

As for trading on securities, Arab investors were the net sellers with EGP 961.75 million.

On the other hand, the Egyptian and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 554.49 million and EGP 407.26 million, respectively.
