UAE stock markets close Monday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s trading session lower by 1.03 points (0.02%) at 4,067.20 points.

A total of 149.16 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 405.42 million.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest trading value of AED 111.17 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 43.83 million shares.

Al Mazaya Holding topped the risers with 7.91%, whereas National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) led the fallers with 5.37%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.043% to 9,037.77 points.

The turnover reached AED 1 billion through the exchange of 227.85 million shares, while the market cap value hit AED 2.79 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) registered the highest turnover of AED 191.23 million, whereas ADNOC Gas dominated the trading volume with 33.86 million shares.

Gulf Cement Company led the gainers with 15%, while Ooredoo headed the decliners with 9.27%.
