Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a downward performance at the end of Tuesday, with the EGX30 main index inching down 0.01% to 27,224.80 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI also retreated by 0.21% to 5,912.58 points.

Likewise, the EGX100 EWI declined by 0.10% to 8,550.11 points.

The turnover amounted to EGP 5.67 billion through the exchange of 709.32 million shares. In addition, the market cap value of EGX exceeded EGP 1.84 trillion at the end of the session.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign investors were the net buyers with EGP 134.45 million and EGP 442.22 million, respectively.

On the other hand, the Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 576.68 million.
