UAE stock markets end Thursday’s session lower

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 34.23 points (0.84%) on Thursday and ended the trading session at 4,023.64 points.

A total of 96.54 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 349.15 million.

Emaar Properties, which recorded the highest trading value of AED 97.68 million, was the most active stock with 12.17 million shares.

National International Holding advanced the risers with 14.78%, whereas Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance led the fallers with 10%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.928% to 8,889.76 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.23 billion through the exchange of 271.76 million shares, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.73 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 188.87 million, whereas ADNOC Drilling dominated the trading volume with 38.35 million shares.

Alpha Dhabi Holding headed the losers with 8.18%, while Aram Group topped the gainers with 5.63%.
