UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 5.65 points (0.14%) on Wednesday and closed  the trading session at 3,980.32 points.

A total of 347.98 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 417.19 million.

Besides recording the highest trading value of AED 68.56 million, while Drake and Scull International (DSI) was the most active stock with 215.04 million shares.

Orascom Construction led the fallers with 6.19%, whereas Al Salam Bank – Sudan advanced the risers with 9.78%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the session higher by 0.332% at 8,948.09 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.02 billion through the exchange of 261.68 million shares, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.71 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 216.43 million, while Manazel  dominated the trading volume with 34.33 million shares.

Al Ain Ahlia Insurance topped the gainers with 11.11%, while Foodco National Foodstuff  headed the decliners with 8.87%.
