UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Thursday’s trading session lower by 1.57 points (0.03%) at 3,978.75 points.

A total of 512.02 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 423.74 million.

Drake and Scull International (DSI), which topped the risers with 9.87%, was the most active stock with 379.62 million shares exchanged at AED 130.49 million.

Meanwhile, Emirates Investment Bank led the fallers with 9.78%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.116% at 8,937.72 points.

The turnover stood at AED 906.05 million through the exchange of 295.07 million shares, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.71 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 195.13 million, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 63.32 million shares.

Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company topped the gainers with 14.51%, while Electrical Industries Company (EIC) headed the decliners with 6.25%.
