Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 3 billion through two issues on Monday, 10 June.
The offering stood at EGP 2.50 billion and will mature in three years on 4 June 2027, according to official data.
Holding a tenor of five years until 11 June 2029, the second issue was valued at EGP 500 million.
The CBE also offered zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 4 billion, which carries a 539-day maturity period until 2 December 2025.
Last week, the central bank announced T-bonds and zero-coupon T-bonds as well as treasury bills (T-bills) in USD over three auctions.
