UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s trading session higher by 0.93 points (0.02%) at 3,980.11 points.

A total of 129.25 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 211.96 million.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance topped the risers with 4.10%, while AL SALAM Sudan led the fallers with 9.50%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of value with AED 53.64 million shares traded, while Drake and Scull International 63.48 million shares.

Similarly, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged higher 0.547% at 8,978.83 points.

The turnover stood at AED 996.63 million through the exchange of 275.18 million shares, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.76 trillion.

International Holding Company topped the market in terms of value with EGP 200.45 million, while Alef Education led the market with 53.57 million shares.

Hayah Insurance advanced the gainers with 9.71%, while Gulf Cement led the losers with 7.82%.
