UAE – Mubasher: Etihad Airways has launched flights from Abu Dhabi to Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia, marking the route as the carrier's fourth destination in the country.

It is also the first ever direct air link connecting the UAE capital with Al Qassim in central Saudi Arabia, according to a press release.

Etihad will operate four weekly non-stop flights between Abu Dhabi and Al Qassim.

This new service will improve connectivity for travellers between Saudi Arabia, the region and worldwide through Abu Dhabi.

The flights will utilise Airbus A320 family aircraft, offering Etihad's award-winning inflight product to passengers in Business and Economy classes.

Customers can book flights via etihad.com, the mobile app, Etihad contact centres or travel agents.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said: “As we celebrate the newest addition to our growing global network, we also reaffirm our commitment to the Saudi market as we mark 20 years of connecting Abu Dhabi with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
