DFM, ADX close Tuesday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 1.43 points (0.03%) on Tuesday and closed the trading session at 3,998.82 points.

A total of 274.94 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 305.59 million.

Drake and Scull International (DSI) was the most active stock with 137.63 million shares exchanged at AED 54.13 million.

Al Salam Bank – Sudan led the risers with 12.81%, while Sukoon Takaful headed the fallers with 3.03%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also fell by 0.227% to 9,001.80 points.

ADX's turnover stood at AED 1.01 billion through the exchange of 355.53 million shares, while the market cap value reached AED 2.76 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 195.91 million.

Eshraq Investments, which dominated the trading volume with 121.19 million shares, led the gainers with 8.55%.

Meanwhile, Palms Sports topped the decliners with 6.79%.
