| Announcement Detail | A reference to the announcement of the Gulf Insurance Group “GIG” on the Tadawul website on 22/11/1445 AH corresponding to 30/05/2024 AD regarding the results of the ordinary general assembly meeting, which included approval of the Board of Directors’ recommendation to distribute cash dividends in the amount of 78,750,000 riyals to shareholders for Fiscal period 31/12/2023 AD, at a rate of (1.5) riyals for each share, at a rate of (15%) of the capital, provided that the eligibility is for shareholders who own shares at the end of trading on the day of the General Assembly and who are registered in the company’s shareholder register at the Securities Depository Center Company (Center Deposit) at the end of the second trading day following the maturity date, which was held on Wednesday 21/11/1445 AH corresponding to 29/05/2024 AD.
Accordingly, the company would like to announce to its esteemed shareholders that the profits will be distributed by automatic deposit in the investment accounts linked to the shareholders’ portfolios at all banks, on 30/06/2024 AD, corresponding to 24/12/1445 AH.
We also draw the attention of non-resident foreign investors to the fact that the cash distributions that are transferred through the resident financial intermediary are subject, upon transfer or when credited to his account, to a withholding tax of 5% in accordance with the provisions of Article (68) of the tax system and Article (63) of its executive regulations.
