Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices closed in the green territory on Wednesday.

The benchmark index, EGX30, grew by 0.87% to close at 27,500.56 points, while the Shariah index rose by 0.45% to end at 2,722.58 points.

The EGX70 EWI index increased by 0.51% to settle at 6,175.21 points. EGX100 EWI went up by 0.77%, closing at 8,958.59 points.

The trading value stood at EGP 1.08 billion after 5.15 billion shares were exchanged during the session, while the market cap value reached EGP 1.86 trillion.

As for trading on securities, Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 309.83 million and EGP 126.54 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 436.38 million.
