UAE stock markets close Wednesday in green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.93 points (0.04%) on Wednesday, closing the session at 4,080.22 points.

A total of 106.87 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of AED 260.71 million.

Dubai Refreshments topped the risers with 15%, while National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) led the fallers with 1.96%.

Emaar Properties generated the biggest turnover of AED 66.11 million, whereas Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) was the most active stock on which 15.83 million shares were traded.

Similarly, the benchmark index FADGI of ADX closed in the green zone after going up by 0.02% to 9,138.45 points.

A total of 489.27 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 1.47 billion. Meanwhile, the market cap value stood at AED 2.79 trillion at the end of the session.

Bank of Sharjah was the top riser with 4.62%, whereas Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) headed the fallers with 6.09%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the biggest turnover of AED 186.15 million, while Eshraq Investments was the most active stock on which 42.35 million shares were exchanged.
