Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 60 billion through two issues on Sunday, 4 August 2024.
Holding a tenor of 91 days until 5 November this year, the first tranche was valued at EGP 35 billion, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering stood at EGP 25 billion and will mature in 273 days on 6 May 2025.
Last Thursday, 1 August, the CBE auctioned T-bills a total value of EGP 65 billion through two tranches.
