Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 60 billion through two issues on Sunday, 11 August 2024.
The first auction stood at EGP 40 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days until 12 November this year, according to official data.
With a 273-day maturity period until 13 May 2025, the second auction was valued at EGP 20 billion.
On Thursday, the CBE auctioned T-bills an aggregated value of EGP 55 billion through two offerings.
