South Valley Cement reports lower net losses at EGP 135m in 9M-25

Cairo - Mubasher: The net losses after tax of South Valley Cement Company hit EGP 134.84 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, signaling a year-on-year (YoY) drop from EGP 237.49 million.

The loss per share decreased to EGP 0.27 in the January-September 2025 period from EGP 0.49 in 9M-24, according to the financial results.

Cement sales amounted to EGP 2.18 billion in 9M-25, which marked an annual jump from EGP 1.10 billion in the corresponding period of 2024.

Moreover, the company registered EGP 7.03 billion in total assets as of 30 September 2025, down from EGP 7.20 billion at the end of December 2024.

Financials for Q3

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, the EGX-listed company recorded net losses after tax of EGP 32.46 million, lower YoY than EGP 190.30 million.

Cement sales surged to EGP 878.25 million in Q3-25 from EGP 460.32 million in Q3-24, whereas the loss per share shrank to EGP 0.06 from EGP 0.39.
