Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 90 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 26 February.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 40 billion, carrying a 182-day maturity period until 1 September 2026, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering stood at EGP 50 billion, holding a tenor of 364 days until 2 March 2027.
Earlier this week, the CBE announced T-bills amounting to EGP 75 billion.
