Names of candidates for election to the Board of Directors of Ahli Bank SAOG for the upcoming term, along with brief profile, to be elected at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 29 March 2026.

 

 

1.    Ibrahim Said Badar Al Eisri – Independent

 

Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia. Currently serves as Chief Investment Officer – Private Markets at the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), Board Chairman of Nama Water Services and Al Hosn Investment. Former Board Member of Omantel and Turkey Oman Investment Company. He has over 22 years of experience across various sectors including telecommunications, oil and gas, and financial and investment services, and has held several leadership roles in finance and investment operations.

 

 

 

2.    Qais Abdullah Moosa Al Kharusi - Independent

 

Certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). Holds an MBA degree in Value Investing & Finance from Columbia Business School, New York, USA and a BSE degree in Industrial and Operation Engineering from the University of Michigan, USA. Currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Al Hosn Investment Company and Board Member of A’Saffa Foods SAOG. He has 17 years of diversified investment experience with over 10 years in senior leadership positions.

 

 

 

3.    Abdullah Saif Ali Al Rajhi – Independent

 

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media from Sultan Qaboos University, a Master's degree in International Relations (International Security) from the University of Leeds, and a Master's degree in Strategic Studies for National Security and Defense from Sultan Qaboos University. Completed executive training programs from the National Defense college. Currently serves as an Administrative and Financial Expert at the Office of the Minister of Agricultural, Fisheries Wealth, and Water Resources. Over 27 years of experience in operations management, strategic planning, human resources, crisis management, financial and administration.

 

 

4.    Sulaiman Abdullah Khalfan Al Balushi - Independent

 

Holds a Master’s degree in International Banking, Finance, and Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, a Pre-Master’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, and Law from the University of Glasgow, and a Diploma in Accounting from Sultan Qaboos University. Currently serving as the Director of Investments at Royal Court Affairs, he oversees multi-asset investments across global financial markets, leveraging his expertise in strategic asset allocation, portfolio management, risk assessment, and investment strategy. He is the Vice Chairman of Oryx Fund and a member of Ahli Islamic Money Market Fund, Izdihar Real Estate Fund, Al Tharwa Fund, and Meethaq Equity Fund. With over 20 years of experience in investment and audit functions, he has contributed to the organization’s objectives including investment and risk management strategy.

 

5.    Ali Said Ali Al Uraimi – Independent 

 

 

Holds a bachelor degree in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University and a postgraduate qualification in Management Learning and Leadership from Lancaster University. A fellow researcher at the Center for Business in Society

 

 

 

at Coventry University since 2017 and an alumnus of the National CEO Program by IMD

Business School. Currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Oman Agriculture Development Company. Serves as board member in several companies as well as a member in Economic committee and Food security committee in Oman chamber of Commerce. Has over 20 years of experience in strategic business development, financial management, performance management, and investment planning across various industries, including food, agriculture, investment, and education services.

 

6.    Abdul Aziz Saud Dawood Al Raisi – Independent

 

Holds approved basic aircraft maintenance training from Air New Zealand, in addition to several professional programs specialized in aviation management and operational engineering. Chairman of the Board of Oman Oil Marketing Company and previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air from 2018 to 2024. He brings over 30 years of extensive leadership experience in the aviation sector and related services, covering corporate transformation, strategic planning, operations management, business development, and strategic partnerships and alliances.

 

 

 

7.    Saleem Pir Bakhsh Shahdad Al Raisi - Independent

 

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kuwait University. Currently he serves as Senior Investment Officer at the Social Protection Fund. He has over 29 years of experience in the fields of investment, asset management, business development and the financial sector. Member of the Board of Directors of Oman Flour Mills Company SAOG and United GCC Fund.

 

8.    Imad Salim Nasser Al Salmi – Independent 

 

 

أolds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Sultan Qaboos University and is a Chartered

 

Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He has extensive years of experience in Alternative Investments, where he oversees a diversified multi-asset private equity portfolio. His expertise spans various sectors, allowing him to identify high-potential investments and contribute to strategic decision-making. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in evaluating investment opportunities, managing risk, and optimizing portfolio performance to achieve sustainable growth. In addition to his leadership role, he serves as a Board member for Al Omaniya Financial Services SAOG and Sembcorp Salalah Power & Water Company SAOG.

 

 

 

9.    Ali Salim Zahir Al Sibani – Independent

 

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Economics from Sultan Qaboos University and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from University College London (UCL). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder. He currently serves as Co-Founder and Partner at Cyfr Capital, a venture capital firm managing assets exceeding USD 100 million and focused on investing in startups globally and in the Sultanate of Oman. He has over 10 years of professional experience at Oman Investment Authority in the areas of investment, economic diversification, portfolio management, corporate governance, and risk and compliance. He also served as a Board and Executive Committee member of Fisheries Development Oman, and as an Investment Committee member of the Gulf Japan Food Fund and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.

 

10.Nooh Abdul Hameed Issa Al Zadjali – Independent

 

holds an MSc in Human Resource Management (Talent Management & Development) with Distinction from the University of Lincoln (UK). A CIPD Associate, certified in Lean methodology, and a graduate of the National Leadership Program “Etimad” at the Royal Academy of Management. He is an organizational development professional with extensive experience in organizational design,

 

 

corporate governance, project management, policy and procedure development, and quality

management. He currently serves as a Consultant Management consultancy Services at TAKATUF Oman, one of Oman Investment Authority entities, supporting organizations in enhancing operating models and effectiveness. Throughout his career, Nooh has held leadership roles across multiple sectors in Oman, including power and utilities, logistics and supply chain, tourism, and finance and insurance.
