This prestigious ‘A-’ credit rating is anchored by an unconditional guarantee provided by the parent company, Qatar Insurance Co. Q.S.P.C. (QIC). The rating underscores OQIC’s strategic integration and the robust financial backing it receives. Furthermore, S&P Global’s assessment highlights that QIC is anticipated to maintain capital adequacy consistently above the 99.99% benchmark within its risk-based capital model.

This milestone enhances OQIC’s competitive positioning in the local market, facilitating its participation in large-scale insurance mandates. It further affirms the Company’s commitment to transparency and long-term value for its shareholders.
