Riyadh - Mubasher: The National Energy Services Company (Tarshid) has signed an agreement with Al Taiseer Group Talco Industrial Company to develop a solar energy project, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Under the agreement, Tarshid will install a solar photovoltaic (PV) system to provide TALCO’s facilities in Riyadh with clean and sustainable energy, supporting the Kingdom’s broader transition toward renewable energy solutions.

The project will utilize nearly 37,000 square meters of rooftop space across four facilities and will feature a total generation capacity of 4.50 megawatts (MW).

The solar systems will be integrated with the existing energy infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency and ensure a stable and sustainable power supply.

This falls within the Green MODON Initiative, which encourages factories in industrial cities to adopt clean energy solutions while expanding afforestation and natural vegetation to support a more sustainable industrial ecosystem.

CEO of Tarshid, Waled Al Ghreri, stated: "Through this project, we aim to empower the industrial sector with sustainable energy options that deliver long-term savings. We view this partnership as a national model for cross-sector collaboration toward a more efficient and sustainable future."

This partnership aligns with Tarshid's objective to achieve the Kingdom’s sustainable goals by delivering tangible energy savings and contributing to reducing harmful emissions.
