Riyadh – Mubasher: The Securities Depository Center Company, widely known as Edaa, recently announced the implementation of a securities quantity increase for Edarat Communication and Information Technology Company (Edarat Group).

The corporate action was executed and reflected in the depository accounts of all eligible shareholders on 17 June 2026, according to an official filing.

The update ensures that the company’s revised share capital structure is accurately represented within the Saudi capital market infrastructure.

As the central entity responsible for the registration, settlement, and safekeeping of securities traded on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), Edaa plays a critical role in the technical execution of corporate actions.

The implementation of the securities quantity increase for Edarat Group follows the standard regulatory protocols required to adjust the number of outstanding shares held by investors.

By updating the center’s accounts, Edaa ensures that the holdings of every eligible investor are precisely adjusted to reflect the new total quantity of shares.

The process of increasing the quantity of securities is a standard procedure that typically follows a company’s decision to alter its capital base.

In the Saudi market, such actions are strictly governed by the regulations of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and are executed through Edaa to maintain the integrity of the depository system.

Moreover, the announcement confirms that the technical transition has been completed, allowing shareholders to see their updated balances in their respective investment portfolios as of the specified implementation date.

The adjustment of Edarat Group’s securities quantity is a significant administrative milestone that requires seamless coordination between the company, the regulatory bodies, and the depository center. This coordination ensures that the transition does not disrupt the trading of the company’s shares and that all investor entitlements are preserved and recorded accurately.

The completion of this update by Edaa provides the necessary transparency for both individual and institutional investors. By ensuring that the quantity of securities is correctly updated, the depository center facilitates a stable environment for the continued trading of Edarat Group’s shares.

This process is essential for the overall efficiency of the Saudi capital market, as it provides a reliable and verified record of ownership for all listed securities.

It is worth noting that as of 15 June 2026, the fluctuation limits of Edarat Group were calculated based on a reference price of SAR 269.40, marking a significant adjustment in the company’s equity structure.
