Riyadh – Mubasher: The Securities Depository Center Company, commonly referred to as Edaa, has officially announced the successful implementation of a corporate action regarding the securities of Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance (Al Rajhi Takaful).
The procedure involves a formal increase in the quantity of securities held within the depository system that reflects a change in the capital structure of Al Rajhi Takaful as it pertains to the accounts of eligible shareholders.
According to the official statement released by the depository center, the implementation was finalized on 24 June 2026.
Meanwhile, this administrative and technical procedure ensures that the additional securities are accurately credited to the investment portfolios of those investors who met the eligibility criteria established for this specific corporate action.
Earlier, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) adjust Al Rajhi Takaful stock’s trading parameters at SAR 58.10 following the shareholders’ approval to increase the capital by doubling it to SAR 2 billion.
The implementation of this increase for Al Rajhi Takaful follows the established regulatory frameworks governing the Saudi stock exchange. The process requires the synchronization of the company’s updated share data with the individual depository accounts of its investors. This ensures that when shareholders access their portfolios, the reflected quantities accurately represent their current holdings following the conclusion of the corporate event.
The announcement marks the completion of the technical phase of the capital adjustment for the insurance provider. With the securities now successfully implemented in the center’s accounts, the administrative cycle for this particular corporate action is considered concluded.
By finalizing this update on the scheduled date of 24 June, Edaa confirms that all necessary internal procedures have been satisfied to accommodate the new securities quantity for Al Rajhi Takaful. This update is now effective across all relevant shareholder accounts within the depository system.
