Riyadh – Mubasher: Bank Albilad logged a net profit of SAR 1.53 billion for the first half (H1) of 2026, representing a 4.18% increase from SAR 1.47 billion in the same period last year.
The bank attributed the growth to a 5% rise in total operating income, supported by higher net income from investment and financing assets.
For the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 791.60 million, up 3.37% from SAR 765.80 million in the prior-year period. Earnings per share (EPS) for the half-year period stood at SAR 0.97.
Total operating income for the quarter rose to SAR 1.61 billion compared to SAR 1.54 billion a year earlier.
However, total operating expenses before credit losses also increased to SAR 674.80 million, while net impairment charges for expected credit losses rose by 14.34% to SAR 55.80 million.
The bank’s balance sheet showed significant growth as of June 30, 2026, with total assets reaching SAR 186.47 billion, a 15.18% increase from SAR 161.90 billion.
Customer deposits grew by 18.77% to SAR 147.18 billion, while the financing and investment loan portfolio expanded by 15.33% to SAR 133.41 billion.
At the end of March 2026, the bank’s net profits attributable to the shareholders increased by 5.05% to SAR 735.80 million from SAR 700.40 million in Q1-25.
