Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Company for Hardware (SACO) announced the formation of its audit committee for the new board term, which commenced on 20 July 2026.
The committee’s tenure is scheduled to last for three years, concluding on 19 July 2029, according to a bourse filing.
The board appointed Abdullah bin Yahya Al Mouallimi, a former Saudi Permanent Representative to the United Nations with over five decades of experience, as the chairman of the committee.
Other appointed members include Rehab Samawal Bakhsh, Ghassan bin Ahmed Amoudi, Ahmed bin Ali Al Saqaf, and Layan bint Mohammed Saeed Banaja.
The new members bring diverse expertise to the committee. Ghassan bin Ahmed Amoudi possesses more than 30 years of experience in the financial and investment sectors, while Layan bint Mohammed Saeed Banaja contributes over 11 years of experience in financial management and reporting.
The committee also includes Ahmed bin Ali Al Saqaf, a certified public accountant and financial consultant. The appointments were finalized during the board meeting held on 20 July.
In June, SACO’s shareholders approved the election of a new Board of Directors for the upcoming three-year cycle.
