Riyadh – Mubasher: Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Company (GGCI) has invited its shareholders to attend the ordinary general assembly meeting scheduled for 17 August 2026.
The meeting will be conducted via modern technology at 18:30.
The primary agenda item involves voting on business and contracts to be conducted with Al Dabbagh Group, in which board member Jamal bin Abdullah Al Dabbagh holds a direct interest as the owner. The proposed transactions consist of one-year insurance premiums.
According to the disclosure, the total value of transactions with the group during 2025 reached SAR 7.04 million in written insurance premiums.
The assembly will also review a limited assurance report regarding related party transactions for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2025.
Other reported figures for 2025 include board remuneration and related expenses totaling SAR 1.80 million and key management short-term benefits of SAR 6.44 million.
Eligibility for attendance and voting is restricted to shareholders registered at the Securities Depository Center by the end of the trading session preceding the meeting.
Electronic voting is scheduled to commence at 01:00 on 13 August 2026. The meeting requires a quorum of shareholders representing at least 25% of the company's capital.
In June, the company’s shareholders approved the financial statements and board reports for 2025. They also agreed to appoint external auditors for the upcoming period.
