Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Sukuk and Bonds market index ended Tuesday's session, 21 July 2026, in negative territory after falling 0.59% to close at 4,797.47 points.
Trading activity saw a significant concentration in corporate issuances, while overall market breadth remained negative with 25 instruments declining against seven gainers.
Total turnover for the session reached SAR 19.43 million, driven largely by high-volume activity in the banking and real estate debt sectors.
The market index shed 28.47 points during the session, pressured by steep declines in several long-term government Sukuk series.
Total trading volume reached 20.5 million units across 64 active instruments, of which 32 remained unchanged from their previous close.
Government debt instruments dominated the list of decliners, with KSA Sukuk 2020-03-30 (5285) was the session's worst performer, falling 10% to SAR 66.54. It was followed closely by KSA Sukuk 2019-04-30 (5280), which dropped 9.99% to SAR 78.26.
Other notable sovereign declines included KSA Sukuk 2026-01-15 (5379), which lost 7.29%, and KSA Sukuk 2021-08-15 (5313), decreasing by 4.96%.
In contrast, a few instruments managed to post gains. KSA Sukuk 2024-04-12 (5344) led the advancing list with a 3.49% increase to SAR 104.99.
In the corporate segment, RAWASI SUKUK 03/2030 (5021) rose 1.83% to SAR 100, while SAUDI GERMAN HEALTH SUKUK 03/2029 (5019) and IOUD SUKUK 05/2031 (5026) both edged up by 0.50%.
Liquidity was heavily concentrated in ALRAJHI SUKUK PERP (1113), which maintained a flat performance at SAR 100.20 but accounted for more than half of the market's total turnover with SAR 10.54 million in traded value.
RAYA SUKUK PREP (5024) followed with SAR 970,000 in value, closing up 0.20% at SAR 103.
KSA Sukuk 2019-01-10 (5274) also saw active trading, recording SAR 910,000 in value despite a 1.78% price decline.
CENOMI CENTERS SUKUK 11/2031 (5023) was among the most active corporate issues, rising 0.15% to SAR 101.40 on a turnover of SAR 540,000.
The session's volume leaders mirrored the value rankings, with ALRAJHI SUKUK PERP (1113) recording 10.52 million units traded.
