Riyadh - Mubasher: Flynas Company has exercised contractual purchase options and rights for 25 additional aircraft from Airbus SAS on 22 July 2026.

The move follows existing agreements dated 31 December 2016 and 7 November 2024, according to a bourse disclosure.

The carrier exercised purchase options for five A330neo aircraft, converting them into firm orders. This brings the total firm order for the A330neo model to 20 units, with 10 purchase options remaining.

Additionally, Flynas exercised purchase rights for 20 A321neo aircraft from an available 55 rights, leaving 35 rights remaining for future use.

Following these transactions, the company’s total firm orders for the A320neo and A321neo family have risen to 215 aircraft, up from the previous 195.

This total includes 159 A320neo and 56 A321neo aircraft. Total firm orders for the A330neo increased to 20 units from the original 15.

The 25 additional aircraft are scheduled for delivery between 2033 and 2034. Flynas stated that the pricing mechanism remains unchanged and subject to prevailing economic conditions.

The financial impact of these orders will be reflected in the company's financial statements upon delivery according to the agreed schedule.

Earlier in June, the national carrier recently relocated its direct flights between Jeddah and Amman to Amman Civil Airport (ADJ).

At the end of March 2026, the net profit of flynas amounted to SAR 117.90 million.
