Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) has opened nominations for its board of dirsectors for a new three-year term.

The nomination period begins on 5 August  2026 and will remain open until 5 September 2026. The company confirmed that the upcoming board cycle will consist of 11 members.

In accordance with Capital Market Authority (CMA) corporate governance regulations, the board composition must include at least 4 independent members.

The new term is scheduled to commence on 25 October 2026 and conclude on 24 October 2029.

Candidates must satisfy specific eligibility criteria, including leadership capabilities, financial literacy, and technical expertise.

Nominees are restricted from holding more than 5 board memberships in listed joint-stock companies simultaneously. The final selection of members will take place during a General Assembly meeting, the date of which will be disclosed at a later time.

At the end of March 2026, the listed group recorded net profits attributable to the owners valued at SAR 1.63 billion, an annual rise of 5.53% from SAR 1.54 billion.
