The board of directors discussed the topics listed on the agenda in its meeting no. 4 held on 30/06/2026 and passed the following resolutions.

Subject: Appointment of Head of Business Administration Faculty

 

Pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Directors, Majan University College SAOG is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Essam AlLawati as Head of Business Administration Faculty.

Dr Essam Al Lawati is an experienced Omani academic leader with a PhD in Management and over a decade of higher education experience. He has led academic departments and strategic portfolios in business studies, postgraduate marketing, innovation, and technology transfer. His expertise spans academic governance, programme quality, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, strategic marketing, and artificial intelligence. He is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), with research published in reputable journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He maintains strong engagement with industry and government stakeholders, advancing innovation, knowledge transfer, and national priorities aligned with Oman Vision 2040.

 

The College looks forward to Dr Al Lawati's contribution in strengthening academic excellence, enhancing programme quality, and supporting the achievement of the College's strategic objectives.
