Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Company received formal approval from the Insurance Authority on 16 August 2026 to renew its license to practice insurance activities in Saudi Arabia.

The renewal covers the remaining period of the existing license and includes both general insurance and health insurance branches.

The renewed license is valid for a duration of two years, according to the regulatory filing. The new term is scheduled to commence on 12 September 2026 and will remain in effect until 11 September 2028.

This regulatory milestone ensures the company’s continued operations within its core business segments in the Saudi market.

In the first half (H1) of 2026, Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance logged a net profit of SAR 2.11 million.
