Riyadh – Mubasher: SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) on 17 August with Maaden Integrated Fertilizers to explore collaborative opportunities within the agri-nutrients value chain.

The agreement establishes a framework for the two entities to cooperate on the development and investment of production and manufacturing initiatives for value-added products.

The partnership is scheduled to remain in effect for a duration of three years from the date of signing. Maaden Integrated Fertilizers is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) and serves as the holding entity for its phosphate business segment.

The collaboration aligns with the SABIC Agri-Nutrients 2040 strategy, which targets global leadership in the nitrogen products market and seeks to strengthen the company's position as a national and international leader in the sector.

The company stated there is no immediate financial impact resulting from the signing of this memorandum, and further material developments will be disclosed as they occur. No related parties were identified in the transaction.
