The project aims to establish a smart and integrated library environment that includes the cloud-based Medad Library Services Platform for managing the library and its digital services and providing self-checkout, self-return, and user self-registration services. The Medad Platform will also enable remote access to the library’s resources and services. The project further includes intelligent robots that provide guidance, respond to enquiries, and assist users in locating resources; smart solutions for managing and tracking collections using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology; and solutions for inventorying library holdings and managing circulation processes.

The project represents a significant milestone in the development of public libraries in the city of Rabat by leveraging modern technologies and smart solutions to enhance the user experience and facilitate access to knowledge. It also demonstrates Naseej for Technology Co.’s ability to deliver integrated digital transformation projects for cultural institutions worldwide.
