Riyadh – Mubasher: Tihama Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Company’s board of directors has approved the appointment of Ahmed Mohammedmaki Al Sawaf to a vacant seat as an independent member.

The appointment, effective immediately, follows a board resolution passed by circulation on 18 August 2026.

Al-Sawaf will serve for the remainder of the current board term, which is scheduled to conclude on 26 November 2027. He brings over ten years of professional experience in internal and external auditing, risk management, and governance.

He currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and has previously held senior roles at the National Security Services Company (SAFE), Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance, and Ernst & Young (EY).

The company noted that the board's approval is not final and will be presented at the next General Assembly meeting for formal ratification.

Al Sawaf holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Solent University in the UK and maintains several professional certifications in forensic accounting and risk management.

Hatem Ali Barghash recently resigned from his position as an independent board member.
