Riyadh – Mubasher: Derayah Financial Company formed its audit committee for a new term starting 1 September 2026, according to a bourse filing.

The committee, appointed by the board of directors on 31 August 2026, will serve until the conclusion of the current board session on 31 August 2027.

The board appointed Faisal Hamad Al Sugair as the chairman of the committee. Al Sugair brings extensive experience from the government and private sectors, currently holding leadership roles at the Transport General Authority and the Ports Authority.

He holds advanced degrees in civil engineering from Stanford University.

The committee also includes Ibrahim Mohammed Al Harabi, Mohammed Saleh Al Sulaiman, and Adel Hussein Abbas as members.

Al Harabi currently chairs audit committees at Aljazira Takaful Taawuni and Mimar Real Estate Development, while Al Sulaiman serves as the head of internal audit at the Tourism Development Fund.

Abbas contributes over two decades of experience from the banking and financial sectors, including previous roles at Bank AlJazira and the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority.

The listed company recently entered into a binding investment commitment worth SAR 244 million ($65 million) in the HOF Capital Strategic Opportunities Fund II (Cayman).
