Riyadh – Mubasher: Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily) and BytePlus entered into a strategic partnership to launch BytePlus’s first Public Cloud region in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region in Riyadh, with estimated investments of $150 million.

The cloud region will leverage Mobily’s advanced data center network and extensive digital infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. It will initially focus on media, AI, and gaming.

The partnership will enable customers to deploy and operate applications and digital services directly within Saudi Arabia, enhancing data security and the end-user experience.

Local deployment will also support applications requiring low latency and high computing power, particularly across AI, media, and gaming workloads.

The new cloud region is expected to provide high-performance local cloud services that support data localization, improve service reliability, and meet the growing digital infrastructure requirements of businesses, organizations, content developers, and game developers.
