Tadawul reclassifies 10 listed firms under GICS framework

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced the reclassification of ten listed companies based on the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS), with changes set to take effect at the start of trading on 13 September.

The adjustment impacts four companies on the Main Market and six companies on the Nomu-Parallel Market.

In the Main Market, Jabal Omar Development and Taiba Investments Company will move to the Consumer Services industry group within the Consumer Discretionary sector.

Aayyan Investment Company will transition to the Food Production industry group under Consumer Staples, while Fitaihi Holding Group moves to Consumer Discretionary Distribution & Retail.

On the Nomu market, Hedab Alkhaleej Trading and Multi Business Group Company are reclassified into Capital Goods.

Service Equipment Company and Alfakhera for Mens Tailoring Company will join Consumer Discretionary Distribution & Retail.

Anmat Technology for Trading Company moves to Software & Services, while National Signage Industrial Company joins the newly established Technology Hardware & Equipment industry group.

The exchange stated that these updates ensure alignment with international sector standards.
