Profits of Jordanian Duty Free Shops jumped by 71% during the first half of 2014 to JOD 8.23 million compared to JOD 4.82 million during the same period of 2013.

Financial statements of the company stated that sales profits increased to JOD 24 million in the first half against JOD 18.46 million in the first half of 2013.

Earnings per share hit JOD 1.099 in the first half compared to JOD 0.642 in the same period of the last year.

Also, the company’s profits rose during the second quarter of 2014 by 710% to JOD 4.38 million against JOD 2.57 million in the same quarter of 2013.

The company had achieved about JOD 3.9 million profits during the first quarter of 2014 against JOD 2.25 million in the first quarter of the last year.
