Saudi’s benchmark index TASI snapped a two-day uptrend, declining 0.17% or 18.55 points to close above the 11000 level at 11062 compared with 11080.92 pts yesterday.
Turnover reached more than SAR 8 billion, after over 238 million shares were exchanged through over 135.6 thousand transactions.
Wrapping up sectors, 12 headed south, led by Hotel & Tourism and Telecommunication & IT which dipped 0.94% and 0.53%, respectively.
Two sectors headed north; Real Estate Development and Multi-Investment which rose 0.47% and 0.15%, respectively.
As for stocks, 96 declined, led by insurance firm Al-Alamiya which lost 6.47% to SAR 101.50, followed by Sharqiya Development which fell 2.79% to SAR 111.25.
On the other hand, 49 rose, spearheaded by Saudi Real Estate which jumped 5.95% to SAR 53.50, followed by SABB Takaful which was up 5.05% to SAR 52.
Alinma Bank was the most active with a turnover of SAR 474,546 million, and a trading volume of 19,074 million shares.
