The benchmark index of Jordan bourse turned lower at the end of Thursday’s session pressured by all sectors.

The index declined by 0.38% and closed the session at 2112.15 points.

Yesterday, the benchmark index rose by 0.07% at the end of Wednesday’s session backed by services and industrials sectors and closed at 2120.31 points.

Out of 9.7 million shares were traded through 4737 transactions at a turnover of JOD 7.1 million.

Total of 131 companies participated in trading in which 38 rose, 58 decreased and the remaining ones kept flat.

At the end of this week, all sectors declined, the services sector shed 0.62%, the industrial sector declined by 0.41% and the financial one lost 0.21%.

The top three gainers were, the Resources Company For Development And Investment Plc by 5.88%, International Cards Company by 5.41% and National Aluminium Industrial by 4.92%.

On the other hand, the top three losers were, Offtec Holding Group Plc by 5.00%, Travertine Company Ltd by 4.94% and Al safweh For Financial Investments Co. by 4.91%.
