The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) succeeded in continuing is upward trend, rising for the seventh successive session, gaining 1.06% or 52.01 pts to 4950.35 pts.

Turnover reached AED 308.15 million as 76.1 million shares were traded through 1626 transaction. A total of 30 companies traded, of which 17 were in the green, 10 were in the red and 3 remained unchanged.

Market performance was slightly mixed with the insurance and energy sector recording the only declines by 2.34% and 1.26%, respectively. Meanwhile, the services and banking sectors topped gainers, adding 1.87% and 1.49%, respectively.

The National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) topped gainers, surging by 7.54%, followed by Dana Gas and First Gulf Bank (FGB), from the energy and banking sectors, which added 3.33% and 3.05%, respectively. On the other hand, Al Ain Insurance, Al Dhafra Insurance and Takaful, all from the insurance sector, led decliners, plunging by 9.91%, 9.62% and 9.47%, respectively.
