The benchmark index of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed on Wednesday at 2132.99 points, inching up by 0.05%.

Trading volume reached 7.5 million shares, at a turnover of JOD 6.6 million, traded through 3,314 transactions.

Shares of 124 companies were traded, of which 42 increased, 44 declined, and 38 remained unchanged.

On all sectors level, services index declined by 0.56%, while both industrial index and financial index increased by 0.22% and 0.09% respectively.

The top three gainers were Resources Company for Development and Investment by 6.67%, Darat Jordan Holdings by 5.00%, and Jordan Decapolis Properties by 4.84%.

The top three decliners were Real Estate Development by 5.56%, Ihdathiat Co-ordinates by 5.00%, and Middle East Specialized Cables Company by 4.76%.
